U Under Pressure

The other day I mentioned that I will soon be going to my very first writing conference. I'm so excited, but I'm also really nervous.

I will be doing an agent pitch interview. ACK! Nerve wracking!! The pressure is getting to me. Now, I'm really not expecting this to lead to anything at all. I just really want to feel good about the process. This will be my first pitch ever and I'm nervous about not sounding like a complete moron!!

Just imagining walking up, sitting down, opening my mouth. It all makes me nervous.

Has anyone done an in person pitch before? What was your experience like??
